Designed by Austin Vernon & Partners and completed in 1959, this mid-century flat within a South London high-rise was carefully reconfigured for owners who had previously lived in another home by the same practice on the Dulwich Estate. The brief centred on creating greater spatial flexibility while preserving the character and architectural integrity that first drew them to the building.

The flat underwent a complete interior refurbishment, introducing full-height doors, a dedicated home office and large sliding partitions that allow spaces to expand or contract to suit different activities and occupants. The original teak flooring was carefully relaid as a continuous level surface to improve accessibility and reinforce the flow between rooms. The kitchen, dining and storage areas were comprehensively reimagined to create a more generous, adaptable and cohesive living environment, enhancing both usability and everyday comfort.
